School Project

Openness and consistency. The development of a child makes up a whole: the school’s objective is to develop his aptitudes and talents. Making children love the school, also means fostering in them a strong work ethic and a taste for quality work; it is learning to respect rules of community life as well as his peers.

École Française de Delhi, thanks to a pedagogical team which is employed keeping in mind an ambitious and consistent pedagogical project, also thanks to modern and high quality equipment has a major objective: development of each student as much on the intellectual level as on the physical level

Specific actions are implemented each school year in order to attain objectives defined by the entire pedagogical team, both primary and secondary level teachers together, during the preparation of the Institute’s project.
School trips (outdoor classes with emphasis on cultural and sport activities) make it possible for the students to encounter in concrete terms Indian culture and civilization and to experience living together in a group.
Various programmes (artistic encounters, designing entertainment programmes) make it possible to create ties between École Française de Delhi and other Indian and international schools of New Delhi.
A special emphasis is laid on activities related to expression of feeling: art, music, body movement.
The school thus proposes, on daily basis, kindergarten onwards, a huge range of extra-curricular activities in the domain of sport, technology and arts. (Theatre, dances, roller-skating, tennis, computer graphic workshop).
